The great Italian composers at Expo

On Saturday, September 26 at 7:30 PM at the Open Plaza in the Expo Centre of Expo Milano 2015, Bracco Foundation offered all visitors to the exhibition a free concert by La Scala Theatre Academy Orchestra, conducted by Pietro Mianiti, with the patronage of the Italian Pavilion.

Bellini, Rossini, Puccini, Mascagni and Verdi, with symphonies and intermezzos from the most famous works: Norma, the Barber of Seville, The thieving magpie, Manon Lescaut, Cavalleria Rusticana, La forza del destino, Nabucco, were offered to everyone present in Milan by the 70 young musicians who for two years had gained important professional experience at the Academy, of which Bracco Foundation is the main partner, under the guidance of prestige conductors such as Fabio Luisi, Principal Conductor of the New York Metropolitan Opera House and currently Musical Director of the Zürich Opernhaus.
