The book “10 voices for 10 years: Words that impact” is an original work conceived by Bracco Foundation to celebrate its first 10 years of activity, giving voice to the principles that inspire us in our cultural, scientific and social commitment.
For its 10th anniversary Bracco Foundation presented “10 voices for 10 years: words that impact”, a choral narration made up of 10 video messages by personalities from the worlds of science, the arts and civil society to share the values and commitment of Bracco Foundation.
Bracco Foundation, Fondazione Sodalitas and the research laboratory "Percorsi di secondo welfare" have carried out research to map corporate foundations in Italy and reveal their main characteristics and operating methods. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
A second edition of a major exhibition titled "Angiolo d'Andrea. La riscoperta di un Maestro tra Simbolismo e Novecento” (the rediscovery of a master of Symbolism and twentieth-century art) took place in Pordenone in 2014. Promoted by Fondazione Bracco in collaboration with the Municipality of Pordenone, this second edition included some important new additions with respect to the first exhibition in Milan in 2012. Curated by Luciano Caramel, the exhibition of more than 120 works paid homage to Angiolo D'Andrea, and commemorated this unjustly forgotten Friulian artist who was active in Milan in the early decades of the twentieth century.
The book tells of a fascinating intertwining of private histories and companies successes, beginning with the Istria childhood of the young Fulvio and his years of study in Trieste, Milan and Pavia, from his apprenticeship in Germany to the great scientific discoveries that brought the company worldwide growth.
