Bracco Foundation presents “Art from Inside” project at Wired Health 2026

On Wednesday 18 March 2026, the Bracco Foundation and Bracco, the company, took part in Wired Health 2026 at BASE Milano. Run by Wired Italia, the event is dedicated to innovations that are transforming the world of health and research.

The Bracco Foundation’s participation took the form of a project: Art from Inside. Capolavori svelati tra arte e scienza which showcases how imaging technologies can be applied to the study and preservation of works of art. This project is the result of a lengthy programme of interdisciplinary research that the Foundation has been pursuing for years in parallel with the Bracco Group, a world leader in imaging diagnostics.

In addition to the screening of a series of video narratives dedicated to the exhibition, the Bracco Group contributed to the day's extensive programme of presentations. In particular, Professor of Applied Physics at the University of Milano-Bicocca, Isabella Castiglioni, who is also director of the Research, Development and Innovation Department at Centro Diagnostico Italiano, and scientific consultant for the exhibition, discussed the diagnostic analyses applied to the artworks and the discoveries they made possible. She highlighted how imaging technologies, traditionally employed in the medical field, serve as vital tools for the study, conservation, and promotion of artistic heritage.

Wired Health provides a key platform for sharing a project that bridges art, science, and innovation. In participating at the event, the Bracco Foundation reaffirms its commitment to developing initiatives that leverage scientific technology to promote and preserve cultural heritage.
