After the first appointment on March 8, 2010, “Diagnosis and prevention, friends of women”, Bracco Foundation organised and promoted the following year, again on International Woman’s Day, the convention “Women and psychological well-being: lifestyles, health and culture”.
Bracco Foundation was Main Sponsor of the exhibition “Venezia– Canaletto e i suoi rivali” (Venice: Canaletto and his rivals) at the Washington National Gallery of Art (February – May 2011).
Many company Foundations, which often express the wishes and values of a family company, choose cultural activities as their preferred instrument, in the conviction that the growth of civilised society is largely supported by culture.
The exhibition includes about 40 works by students of the la Scala Theatre Academy and offers, in the exhibition areas of the CDI, a chance for creative expression by the students, in line with the aims of the foundation with its attention to young people and project research.
n the science and culture area, Bracco Foundation pays particular attention to the subjects of diagnosis, prevention, personalised medicine and the study of the interrelations between health and social and cultural problems. The “gender question” is one of its fundamental missions.
