The General Stages of Orientation

For the first time in Italy an orientation event is being held in a stadium, namely the "Benito Stirpe” stadium of Frosinone, for a general celebration of the European Year of Skills. The event, promoted by Confindustria and supported by Fondazione Bracco, takes place on Wednesday 17 May 2023  and involves 4,000 students.

The objective is to guide young people towards making an informed choice about their future by means of a team orientation exercise  involving high schools, technical colleges, universities, businesses, and local and national institutions. The event includes testimonials, sport, music, entertainment, meetings and workshops.

Taking part are students of all ages  – including primary school children who were finalists in the “Eureka! Funziona!” [Eureka! It works!] project. The event will also provide the occasion for calling up the first Italian national team from the ITS Academies (technical college).

The Bracco Foundation, in addition to supporting the orientation event, is also contributing through the presentation of Mind the STEM Gap, a manifesto developed by Bracco that rejects gender stereotypes and support girls who want to take up STEM subjects .

The day is divided into three parts:
9.00/10.00 a.m. – PRE-MATCH: Presentation of the event and its key messages, to be made available in streaming. Arrival of the children.
10.00 a.m. /12.15 p.m. – ALL ON THE FIELD: Orientation activity to be held on the pitch and in the stands.
12.15 /2.00 p.m. – THIRD HALF: visit to the orientation stands, games and relaxation.
