“Diventerò” prize awarded to young pianist Antonio Alessandri

As part of the 33rd edition of the Ettore Pozzoli International Piano Competition, the Bracco Foundation's "Diventerò" prize was awarded to the young pianist, Antonio Alessandri.After a week of recitals and performances by competitors and at the end of an exciting final evening on Tuesday 3 October at the San Rocco Theatre in Seregno (during which the competitors performed with the Milan Symphony Orchestra conducted by Andrea Oddone), the jury of this 33rd edition of the Ettore Pozzoli International Piano Competition decided not to award a first prize.

The jury (chaired by Emanuele Arciuli and made up of Sa Chen, Katherine Chi, Alessandro Deljavan, Sofya Gulyak, Alexander Korsantia and Alexei Volodin) awarded the second prize to Vladimir Skomorokhov and Riito Shimata. The third-place prize went to Zixi Chen.

Once again this year, in connection with its commitment to nurturing young talent, the Bracco Foundation sponsored a special competition prize.
