Cav. Lav. Fulvio Bracco prize awarded

In line with its commitment to support research and young researchers Bracco Foundation has promoted and implemented the first edition of the Cav. Lav. Fulvio Bracco Prize, aimed at young research doctors or graduates with postgraduate experience in scientific research structures.

A numerous and authoritative commission decreed on December 17, 2010 that Giuseppina Catanzaro, born in 1982 and from Cosenza, was the winner of the first edition of the prize. The young researcher convinced the commissioners, who preferred her over the other four shortlisted candidates. The prize consists of a three-year project contract for research in the Bracco Research Centre in Colleretto Giocosa (Turin), with specific attention to two aspects, in line with the intentions of Bracco Foundation: in the sectors of innovation in medical diagnostics and the sustainability of production processes, and innovation in diagnostic imaging.
