“A Life in Sport”. Exhibition at the Milano Innovation District
The photographic exhibition, conceived and created by the Bracco Foundation, highlights female excellence in sport. On show until 2 June 2025, this intriguing visual journey takes place at the Mind Innovation District in Milan. Through the lens of renowned photographer Gerald Bruneau, the exhibition portrays the faces and achievements of 20 remarkable Italian women consisting of athletes, managers, Paralympic champions, and activists, all of whom have left an indelible mark on the sporting landscape thanks to their dedication and commitment. They are listed in the #100esperte project, which was set up to promote female skills in high-impact sectors.
It is being hosted during MIND Innovation Week in the outdoor spaces of the Milano Innovation District, an important ecosystem of scientific and technological organizations committed to multidisciplinary innovation and future-oriented progress.
The exhibition is also part of the Cultural Olympiad of Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026.
The installation for Mind Innovation week was put in place with the help of Bracco and the support of Lendlease.

Bracco Foundation presents a photographic exhibition in Milan: “A Life in Sport: The Faces and Achievements of 100 Female Experts”, sponsored by the Municipality of Milan and Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026. By showcasing the contributions of Italian women to the world of sport, the exhibition is an advertisement for gender equality and a rebuttal of the stereotypes that continue to limit female visibility.
