An all Italian repertoire to celebrate the Year of Italian Culture in the United States, in the second date of the tour that took, thanks to Bracco Foundation, the La Scala Theatre Academy Orchestra first to Chicago and then to the Strathmore Music Center near Washington.

As part of the Foundation’s activities supporting the Museo Poldi Pezzoli, on the evening of February 18, 2013, guests will have the chance to visit the exhibition which, inspired by one of the most important works in the museum, the recently restored Imago Pietatis by Giovanni Bellini, examines the formal evolution of the iconography of Piety in the artistic works of Bellini between 1450 and 1470 through for extraordinary masterpieces by the artist portraying the subject, housed in the Milanese museum, in the Bergamo Accademia Carrara, in the Venice Museo Correr and in the Museo della Città di Rimini.

To celebrate the International Women’s Day, March 8th , Bracco Foundation is organizing a seminar on prevention, with the aim of spreading in promoting among women a greater sensitivity towards healthy lifestyles, correct diet and preventive diagnosis.
The third in the series of meetings on “Women & Science” focusing on women’s prevention, organized by the Fondazione Umberto Veronesi in cooperation with Bracco Foundation is now starting.
Bracco Foundation and the University Campus Bio-Medico of Rome organised the seminar “Prevention and Diagnosis of breast cancer: friends of young women,” in order to improve the culture of prevention in such an important area as breast cancer, the most frequent form of cancer among young women in Italy.
