With the exhibition “Le Signore dell’Arte. Storie di donne tra ’500 e ’600’” (The Ladies of Art. Stories of women between 1500 and 1600) Milan Palazzo Reale, from March 2021, the art and the incredible lives of 34 female artists are rediscovered through more than 130 works, demonstrating intense all-female creative vitality, in a singular account of passionate stories of women who were already “modern”. Bracco Foundation, always attentive to the world of art and science with a strong focus on the female universe, supports the exhibition as Main Sponsor.
The book “10 voices for 10 years: Words that impact” is an original work conceived by Bracco Foundation to celebrate its first 10 years of activity, giving voice to the principles that inspire us in our cultural, scientific and social commitment.
For its 10th anniversary Bracco Foundation presented “10 voices for 10 years: words that impact”, a choral narration made up of 10 video messages by personalities from the worlds of science, the arts and civil society to share the values and commitment of Bracco Foundation.
The tree Christmas, a creative idea developed by Marco Balich and donated to the city of Milan by Bracco Foundation, brings during the Christmas festivities a moment of solidarity among the various souls of the city and of reciprocal support between quarters, involving companies and non-profit organisations.
After the success of the first edition, Bracco foundation is relaunching as part of “Bracco for schools” the “Science hour!” Teaching project, an initiative aimed at teachers and students of middle and upper schools in Lombardy, Lazio and Piedmont to bring more science into society, starting from schools.

The exhibition “Life as a scientist”
The exhibition “Life as a scientist” presents the faces and the competences of some of the greatest Italian women scientists, protagonists of the “100 women against stereotypes” project that was created to highlight female expertise in sectors still perceived as male dominated.
Fondazione Bracco and Percorsi di secondo welfare are sponsoring a round of discussions on how they and similar philanthropic institutions should respond to the new challenges posed by the pandemic.
On International Women’s Day Bracco Foundation presents the project in partnership with Panini Comics to recount to a younger public female science with a cartoon strip in the Italian weekly Topolino.
The InOltre project has created a new “centre” in the city of Baranzate, dedicated to culture, services and social entrepreneurism. To sustain a new growth phase, in which the community plays a leading part and creates its own past the change, and project beyond the boundaries of the quarter a model of regeneration based on welcome, solidarity and a multicultural nature.
