The second edition of the “Diventerò nel Mondo” project gets under way

The second edition of the Diventerò nel Mondo project, promoted by the Bracco Foundation in collaboration with Office 5 of the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), was officially launched in Paris on 12 November 2025 during the awards ceremony for the winning schools of the first edition.

The project, which aims to promote scientific culture and gender equality in STEM disciplines among students in Italian schools abroad (state-run, privately run following the national syllabus, and independent), will also involve the approximately 70 Italian sections that operate inside European and international schools for the 2026/2027 academic year. It will thus expand the international educational network and enable a larger number of students to engage with the values of gender equality and scientific innovation.

The activity format remains the same as in the first edition, and includes the translation of the "Mind the STEM Gap" Manifesto into the school's local language, the promotion of women who are active and important members of the scientific community of the country, and the creation of digital projects that underscore the value of STEM careers for the future of society.

As in the previous edition, there will be three prizes of €1,000, one for each level (primary, middle, and upper) of school.

Schools interested in participating must submit their applications by the following deadlines:

  • 30 January 2026 for schools in the northern hemisphere

  • 30 March 2026 for schools in the southern hemisphere

Applications should be sent by email to: scuole@fondazionebracco.com
