“Milan through Leonardo’s Eyes” exhibition lands in Tokyo thanks to Fondazione Bracco and MAECI

On the occasion of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Fondazione Bracco presents in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) the exhibition “Milan through Leonardo’s Eyes” in Tokyo, in the outdoor spaces of the Italian Embassy.

The exhibition makes cultural content linked to Italian know-how accessible to a diverse and urban audience, promoting a dialogue between art, young talent and the territory.

Young perspectives on a Leonardesque Milan
Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s vision of Milan, the exhibition offers a contemporary photographic interpretation by five young women photographers, all alumnae of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, a longstanding partner of Fondazione Bracco. The project blends female perspectives, technical skill and creativity in a narrative that bridges tradition and innovation.

A step towards Expo Osaka 2025
The initiative echoes the themes of the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, which highlights the art of Italian know-how and the central role of new generations in passing down knowledge.

The exhibition in Tokyo is also part of the international cultural promotion programme by Milano & Partners, which celebrates the Leonardo anniversary with events and initiatives abroad.

Through this project, Fondazione Bracco confirms its commitment to culture as a driver of development, in continuity with the Bracco Group’s role as Gold Sponsor of the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. 👉 Learn more here
