La Scala Theatre Academy in concert for the Italian National Day at Expo 2020 Dubai

Bracco Foundation, Gold Sponsor of the Italy Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai and Founding Partner of the La Scala Academy, is supporting the concert of the soloists and orchestra of the La Scala Theatre Academy conducted by Donato Renzetti on the Italian National Day, November 24, 2021, in front of Italian and foreign institutional authorities.
For this day that celebrates our country, the Italy Pavilion has chosen the young talents of the La Scala Academy, some of them already established professionals, under the guidance of a top-level Maestro like Donato Renzetti to perform a programme dedicated to the great Italian opera repertoire.

Interpreting arias and selections of our lyric tradition will be soprano Clarissa Costanzo, mezzosoprano Martina Serra, tenor Azer Zadaand baritone Ettore Chi Hoon Lee.

Bracco Foundation has a special tie with La Scala Academy.

“In 2012 we decided to focus on important part of our cultural activities on the new generations in all sectors, creating progettoDiventerò – Bracco Foundation for the young, which offers training opportunities through an extensive programme of scholarships, degree prizes and training apprenticeships,” says Diana Bracco, President of Bracco Foundation. “In this context came our partnership with La Scala Theatre Academy, with which we share above all the value of culture as an educational tool that can improve the quality of life and reinforce social cohesion.”

Over the years Bracco Foundation has supported La Scala Academy in several initiatives, not just in Italy but also abroad: concerts, exhibition products and dances, including the Cinderella ballet performed at Expo Milano 2015. La Scala Orchestra at Expo 2020 in Dubai will offer these young talents a prestige international stage.
