Concert by the Bari orchestra Petruzzelli for the italian embassy in the Usa

Bracco Foundation is Institutional Partner of the Italian Embassy in the United States and the Rome Compagnia per la Musica for the concert officially celebrating Italian Unification.

The Orchestra of the Fondazione Lirico-Sinfonica del Petruzzelli in Bari, conducted by Lorin Maazel, a member of the Advisory Board of the Foundation, will play important pieces from Italian music, by Verdi, Rossini, Respighi and Puccini, and a brand-new orchestral piece commissioned from composer Giorgio Battistelli.

At the concert, in the new building of the Italian Embassy in Washington, will be illustrious guests, as well as several ambassadors, members of the Supreme Court and representatives of the Italian community in America. Bracco Foundation is renewing its commitment to support Italian culture worldwide, after supporting the exhibition “Venice: Canaletto and his rivals” at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, an exhibition that maestro Maazel, the Mayor of Bari Michele Emiliano and other Puglia authorities will have the pleasure of visiting.
