The digitisation project of the historical archive SNIA in Torviscosa was described by the President of the Bracco Foundation, Diana Bracco on Saturday the 14th of November 2015 within the Conference "Prospects for Torviscosa, between industrial revival and preservation of historical heritage" which was attended, among others, by the Minister of the Environment Gian Luca Galletti together with the President of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, Debora Serracchiani. The SNIA and CID (Centro Informazione Documentazione-Documentation Information Centre) archives are composed of more than 1800 drawings and 10 thousand slabs which will soon be accessible in digital format.
During her speech, Diana Bracco said: "I think the case of Spin in Torviscosa represents an emblematic example of the positive osmosis between industry, the local area and the environment. We have re-launched a strategic production area for Italian manufacturing, and the arrival of new investment and jobs rewards the courage that we have had to tackle such a large operation of industrial archaeology".
The day in Torviscosa, organised as part of the Confindustria's 14th week of business culture, also saw the inauguration of two exhibitions entitled "When Italy had factories" and "Filippo Tommaso Marinetti in Torre Viscosa".
