On Thursday May 12th 2016 the Bracco Foundation participated in the session "Sustainability 4.0" part of the vast and varied programme of "Seeds and Chips", a reference event for start-ups, businesses, research centres, media and policy makers active in the food industry, running from May 11th to May 14th 2016 at Milano Congressi - MiCo.

The announcement, promoted by the Foundation in collaboration with the Positive Economy Forum San Patrignano, the incubator Speed MI Up and the investment fund Oltre Venture, was established in the wake of promoting a transition to a circular economy in favour of sustainable growth through innovative business initiatives, encouraging entrepreneurship among young people and spreading the values of the positive economy.

In addition to Giovanni Castino from the Bracco Foundation, speakers also included Danielle Nierenberg of FoodTank, Joris Lohman of Slow Food Youth Network, Pierluigi Santoro of The Algae Factory, Victoria Albrecht of YFood and London Food Tech Week, Ezio Veggia President of Confagricoltura and Daniele Basso CEO Htc bio Innovation.
