"La regola del talento. Mestieri d'arte. Il saper fare italiano" (The rule of talent. Art crafts. Italian know-how) (26th May – 31st October 2015 housed within the CDI, via Saint Bon 20, Milan) was organised by the Bracco Foundation and Cologni Foundation of art crafts running parallel to the 2015 Milan Expo.
Sixty-eight stunning images of the Milanese photographer Laila Pozzo illustrate seventeen italian schools of high craftsmanship, where the masters of tomorrow study and apply themselves: places where young people learn the rule of talent and the methods, but also the enthusiasm and passion for an area, for which Italy is known worldwide and from which design and fashion have earned their lifeblood.
They range from the mosaic school of Friuli, to that of Murano glass, the footwear Polytechnic of Vigonza, to the school of violin making in Cremona, the Italian leather high school in Scandicci, ending with the famous schools of restoration of the Opificio (factory) of precious stones of Florence, the restoration school of Rome and Venaria Reale.
Arts and crafts, talent, passion, tradition, but also professional and work opportunities offered to the new generations, that's why the Bracco Foundation made this decision.
